INTRO: With less than a minute before the startex a big shiny plane flies over the PAX. During the beatdown this would mean 15 Burpees. The plane landed before 5:30, so the PAX thought we lucked out. It turned out to be a bad omen. We ended up having two more fly-overs during the beatdown, resulting in 30 extra Burpees. Or, were we lucky that it wasn’t 3?
WARM-O-RAMA: Mosey Along the road back to the Flag for SSH (IC), Weed Pickers (IC), Imperial Walkers (IC), Windmills (IC) and Sun Gods and Michael Phelps (OYO).
Time for some math and some strategy. Cones are set out at 10 yard intervals like half of a football field. An exercise is called with 60 reps. The PAX can reduce the number of reps by running up to 50 yards. Each yard out buys you one rep. Run your distance and come back to do the exercise. But, the total must equal 60 (e.g., run 40 yards, return and do 20 reps).
Exercises: American Hammers, Bonnie Blairs, Burpees, Jumps Squats, LBC, Lunges, Merkins, Mountain Climbers, Squats, SSH, X-Factors. Plank or Air-chair for the 6 to keep the PAX together.
Rinse and repeat for another round. But wait! The 50 yard cone is missing! The PAX were quick to understand what this meant. Now you have to make your 60 but can only run up to 40 yards. I think the fly-overs distracted them from taking it out on YHC.
