Everyone, even 8-Bit, arrived to Publix ahead of schedule. The wafting scent of Publix chicken filled the air but we knew a mission was upon us. We headed down HWY 92 for the first 2.5 miles of our journey to NoonDay Creek Trail. Several cars honked as us and shouted out the window, they must of thought “check out those studs”.
Once we got to the trails we encountered several patrons, we discussed how we would fend off any wrong doers. Hass stated he would behind us big boys for protection, what a girl. After a 1.5 mile journey to Main Street we headed back towards HWY 92 avoiding the temptation of beer in Downtown Woodstock. Avis was talking about his love for Seltzers, after that we offered to buy him some tampons.
At the 4.5 mile point we all agreed we came out of the gate too hard, but we had to tuck that away because we had several large hills to tackle on the final 3 miles. During one long hill I thought I was going to actually hear 8-Bit drop an F-Bomb!
We finished with 1 minute to spare and 7.2 miles completed. We joined in a COT and discussed several upcoming events and ended with a prayer for us all. Since we all had early obligations the next day a visit to WaffleHouse did not occur.
Great time with Great HIMS!!
