Friday at Crossroads! The very best Friday beatdown at Avery Elementary School in Cherokee County! Bar none!
Mosey from flag, around rock, to parking lot closest to the coupons.
SSH 20 4 count (which is actually 40 SSH)
Q provided a standard deck of playing cards. Each denomination represented a different exercise, each suite specified the number of reps.
All PAX would complete the exercise and reps determined by the drawn playing card, then take a lap around the parking lot. Gazelles were instructed to run all the way around the rock and back. Clydesdales had to circle the last car and back.
We got in a ton of flutter kicks, 2 sets of high pulls, squats, 25 burpees (thanks for NOTHING Lively), some skull crushers, some more SSH, some lunges and some big boy situps.
Return the coupons, circle up for about 2 minutes of Mary and POOF that was a beatdown.
Prayers for our F3 brothers that we haven’t seen in a while (I’m talking about YOU Pitchfork!).
Doubtfire’s daughter is overbooked and overstressed.
Wham-o has ties to the school district in SC that lost a 3rd grade teacher to Covid.
Praying for Carmen San Diego and his journey the next 8 weeks.
The soundtrack for this beatdown was classic rock tunes covered by modern pop punk bands. Seemed to go over pretty well. The gazelles were able to get in over 3 miles so that was pretty great. It was really great to see some regulars and some less regulars out this morning. Wham-O has been posting a lot now that he’s off the DL. Crablegs is coming out consistently now. It’s been great seeing Harp out and about! Misty pushed me to run further and faster as usual. And what would a Crossroads workout be without Alcoa and Lively? I wouldn’t know cause they are always there! Peace!
