Beautiful morning this morning with a grand sunrise…was expecting to see a hot air balloon inflating at the middle school but no such luck!
We moseyed to the 50yd line for a standard warm-o-rama. Surprised by the mumblechatter when I didn’t call Michael Phelps after the Sun Gods…oh well.
The first evolution was the DMC (Duckwalk / Merkin / Bearcrawl) starting on the goal line. Duck walk the prescribed yardage, drop for the Merkins, Bear Crawl back to the goal line. We did 10, 20, 30, 40, & 50 yard line with 5, 10, 15, 20, 25 Merkins respectively.
Next up was 2 rounds of Burpee Dans. We lined up on a sideline and proceed to the other side with 4 Lunges : 1 Burpee. Once we got there was came back with 4 Lunges : 2 Burpees.
Final evolution was a modified “The Cooper”. Take a lap and do 10 Burpees, 10 BBSU’s, and 10 Squats. We did 4 laps total (due to time) with 10/10/10, 8/8/8, 6/6/6, and 4/4/4.
Moseyed back to the flag just a hair over the 6:15 am mark.
Great work by all the PAX. Sure is fun to be back in the stadium again. Need to enjoy it while school it out for the summer!
