A crisp morning, a solid crew, and 4+ miles of rucking greatness—well, almost for everyone. We set out with high spirits and even higher expectations, but Westside’s enthusiasm took a hit the moment his fresh kicks met their mortal enemy: mud. Tragically, the poor guy had to dip early, though not before we orchestrated a daring trespass through a homeowner’s backyard to get him back to the flag. No worries though—Westside’s on the HOA board, so if anyone complains, he’ll just hit them with a citation for unauthorized landscaping.

Mumblechatter Highlights:
FMB gave us a deep dive into his upcoming 100-mile “Dumb Run.” The more details we heard, the dumber it sounded.

We got an education on the Barkley Marathons, which, shockingly, might be an even worse life decision than FMB’s 100-miler.

Finished with some hills, leading to The Chad questioning Copper’s definition of “Baby Hills.” Verdict: If these were babies, they were the heavyweight champs of the nursery.
