Started w/ a lot of mumble chatter on Slack on whether we were going to work out or not… the lightening wasn’t cooperating. Decided to give it a go and modify the BD so that everything was under the pavilion.
Started with mosey back and forth a few times in the pavilion. Then butt kicks, karaoke, high knees, side shuffle, back pedal, walk w/ Michael Phelps.
1st Set – 4 round of merkins
Broad Jump Length of the pavilion / Sprint Back – 1st round 25 wide, 2nd round 25 close, 3rd round 25 reg, 4th round 25 hop merkins
2nd Set – 4 rounds of abs
Side Hops down and back – 25 ski abs, 25 in and outs, 25 wide, 25 mountain climbers
3rd set – 4 rounds of Shoulders
Power Hops down, sprint back – 25 mike tysons, 25 shoulder taps, 25 plank punches, 25 air presses
Cardio Recovery = Down and Back 10 times
Pax starts doing side straddle hops, first person in line does 2 burpees and then sprints to the easter basket on the other side of the pavilion. Basket is full of 40 eggs with exercises inside. “Sprinter” brings back the egg to the others that are still doing side straddle hops and reads out the new exercise. The group begins the exercise while the 2nd Pax in line does 2 burpees and sprints down to grab the next egg/exercise.
Merkins, Steps Ups on the bench, Dips, Rug Burn Burpees, Bonnie Blair’s, Big Boys, Freddie Mercury’s, J’Lo’s, Monkey Humpers, Squat Jumps, Crunchy Frog, Mike Tyson’s, and more!
I was ready to stop but the group wanted more cardio… we ran 3 laps around the cat box and then finished with some Mary.
Prayers for T’s fam, Continued thoughts and prayers with Izzy (she’s a bad ass), and Chubbs’ decisions coming up. Thanks for letting my 2.0 come out and work out with you guys as well. I like that he can see what hard work, friendship, and faith looks like outside of the home and he definitely gets it with the group at the cat box.
