Well in pure NesQuik fashion, I showed up to the parking lot at The Vineyard with 2 minutes to spare. I put out some coupons and some Popsicle sticks and we moseyed toward the middle school and then took a right.
Warm-o-rama
We started the warm-o-rama with weed pickers, side straddle hops, imperial walkers and the other usual suspects to warm up the upper body. Then we moseyed to the first light pole on the road. At each light pole we did 10 Merkins and then planked on the six. Then we ran to the next light pole and did 10 Merkins and so on. By the time we were back to the main parking lot, we had done 100 Merkins.
Our exercises were chosen by our popsicle stick selection. There were several choices: UB (Upper Body), L (Legs), Abs and Mystery Pops (no label). We each chose a stick and then we did each exercise in a rotating fashion. When we were done with the first set, one Pax took the reigns to haul a tire across the parking lot while the rest of us ran the perimeter. We did this until each of us had an opportunity to haul the tire. Then we just ran to run the clock out.
The exercises that were selected are listed below (in no particular order):
Merkins, Carolina Dry Docks, Inclined Merkins, Military Hand Release Merkins, Lunges, Plank Side Walk, Shoulder Taps, Plank Jacks, Wide Side Crunch, Squats, American Hammers, Oblique Bends, Box Cutters, American Hammers, Dips, Merkins, LBCs, Freddie Mercury’s, Gas Pushers, Bicep Curls, Bonnie Blairs, Side Straddle Hops, and Merkins again.
We ended in the usual COT. We prayed for M2M and our families. It was a truly sucky morning…F3 Style.
