WARMUP: We moseyed over to the middle school and circled up for the usual MK warmup routine.
THE THANG: Escalating legs and arm exercises. Pretty simple, we did a set of leg exercises then ran a lap. We started with 5 reps and added 5 on each time up to 20. The exercises were lunges (Kodiak count), copperhead squats, calve raises, and squats.
After the first round, we switched to arms/shoulders. Air presses (4 count), diamond merkins, dips, seal claps (4 count).
The process was simple, the work was not… 60 and 80 seal claps was murder!! Of course MK didn’t have music, so we listened to the soothing sounds of Dory and Cap Gun breathing during the laps and talked about LawDog… FMB missed the first 15 minutes on account of the frozen pizza he ate the night before. It was awesome having Maytag back in action after slowly getting into the swing of things coming off his surgery.
