INTRO:

It was a familiar group this morning at The Hurt Locker. YHC arrived a little early for the earlier startex and shortly thereafter strolled in Super Dave and Bloodhound. Would Duggar join us again with his famous last minute arrival! 5:14am..but wait, I see lights…could it be.

 

WARM-O-RAMA:

5:15am arrived just as Duggar was parking. The PAX met Duggar at his car and we started our mosey to the Turf Filed Concession stand, circled-up and did the following:

 

Good Mornings – 10 IC

Imperial Walker – 10 IC

Weed Pickers – 15 IC

SSHs – 10 IC

 

THE THANG:

Next, we stayed in place and YHC explained “Balls to Burp”. The PAX would start Balls to the Wall until they reached failure. Once the PAX reached failure, they did 10 burpees. We did this the entire length of one song on the playlist, Twice as Hard by The Black Crowes. These are rough. All the blood rushes to your head while upside down, and then you have to go and start doing burpees. Not to long of a song though, but it helped get the heart pumping. All done. Now to the next thing.

 

We moseyed to the turf field, lined-up on the goal line, and did the following:

 

  1. 100 yard dash to opposite end zone, complete 100 SSHs, backwards run back to the goal line (starting point). All the PAX did these together.
  2. 75 yard dash, 75 Mountain Climbers (Rubicon count), backwards run back to goal line (starting point).
  3. 50 yard dash, 50 LBCs, backwards run back to goal line (starting point).
  4. 25 yard Bear Crawl, 25 Merkins, Crawl Bear back to goal line (starting point).
  5. 10 yard Bear Crawl, 10 Burpees, Crawl Bear back to goal line (starting point).

 

After a short recovery, we moseyed to one of the corners of the field. The PAX would start with 10 Merkins, Squats, and Leg Raises, and then run a lap around the field, staying outside the white lines. Next, 9 of each exercise, then a half lap, cutting across the 50 yd line. 8 of each exercise, a full lap. We alternated the long and short laps after each set. The PAX got to 4 of each exercise and ran the last short lap together.

 

With only a few minutes to get back to the flag, the group arrived right at 6am. All done!

 

CIRCLE OF TRUST:

We asked for prayers for our families as we all deal with the Covid-19, keeping everyone healthy. Prayers for our first responders, those on the front lines, and our leaders.

NAKED-MOLE SKIN:

Great time this morning and enjoyed seeing everyone. Super Dave killed it once again and he continues each week to get stronger and faster. I think those Creekside Hills paid off during the Shield Lock! Duggar won’t admit it, but he worked hard this morning. As you know, he brings the one-liners and his mumble chatter always makes the time go by faster. Bloodhound, as always, was there for the extra push and always looking out for the six, and pushing the PAX to give their full effort! Enjoyed it fellows! Until next time, SYITG. Rest Stop out!
