Soggy, dark and cold. Just the way the Men of Oz like it. Yes it was a perfect day to do some rolling around in the mud. And having just returned from Vegas, and having lost money, I wanted to inflict pain on Blowpop, Boonie, Dump, Chicken Fight, Ring Pop and myself.
I am not sure if anyone had Q’ed the infamous “7 Of Diamonds” workout before, so that was the First Thang. It goes like this …
Set up a diamond, like a baseball diamond, in a field.
Seven rounds with each round being a multiple of 7.
Round 1: 7 burpees at each corner.
Round 2: 14 merkins at each
Round 3: 21 IW’s
Round 4: 28 squats
Round 5 (descending): 21 IW’s
Round 6: 14 merkins
Round 7: 7 burpees
We all pretty much got it done, and we moved on to Thang 2.
We did 1 4×4, ran 70 yards and did 6 squats. Then 2 4x4s and 5 squats, down to 6 4x4s and 1 squat.
Ring Pop (or was it Chicken) finished, but the rest of us couldn’t before 6:15.
We prayed for a friend of mine Denniis’ health, Dump’s family, Roscoe P’s foot, and other things, which we know God will take care of.
We a great group. What a blessing to know these guys. What a better option than fartsacking.
