Warm-O-Rama
We took a short mosey around the parking lot to the parking lot entrance where we did the usual suspects: Side Straddle Hops, Imperial Walkers, Weed Pickers, and Sun Gods.
Then we did a snake pattern through the parking lot starting at the first light pole we were near. We did 5 burpees then ran to the next light pole, and did 5 burpees. Then we ran over to the middle of the parking lot and did 5 more burpees. We did this with a snake pattern doing a total of 30-40 burpees. Then we ran over to where the cinder blocks were stored.
The Thang!
Today was the B.O.M.B.S.! It was hot and muggy and we partner up, I was with GoDaddy, and Lizard King was with Tiny Tat. We chose two cinder blocks, one for each pair. We partnered up and while one Pax was doing the exercise, their partner ran across the parking lot to where there were two large orange cones and then they ran back.
50 – B – Big O’s (one is one direction so we switched directions every now and then).
100 – O – Overhead Press with the cinder block
150 – M – Merkins using the cinder block in some way. The choice was Inclined Merkins, Decline Merkins, Merkins with One Hand on the CB and Merkins with the other hand on the CB.
200 – B – Bicep Curls – enough said.
250 – S – Squats with the cinder block held any way you choose.
After we were done with our B.O.M.B.S. we moseyed back to the flag where we focused on core exercises: American Hammers, Crunchy Frogs, Flutter Kicks, Reverse LBCs, Leg Lifts and Shoulder Taps.
Finishing the last 30 seconds with an air chair.
We were all dripping wet and NesQuik almost passed out. It was tough coming back from vacation.
COT
We prayed for a number of friends and family of LK who are fighting COVID and need our prayers. We prayed for the victory that GoDaddy’s sister had and continued strength and favor for his other sister.
