3 PAX braved the unusual cold for this time in April. We started off slow but heated up quickly.
Moseyed around the loop near the playground
Circled up for:
10x Weed Pickers
10x Imperial Walkers
Remained in the circle for the first routine
Staying in the circle a Tabata timer was set for 60 second intervals. PAX had that time to perform 7x Burpees and then rest. We repeated this for 10 rounds ending the final round with 10 burpees (thanks Hopper)
Moseyed to the turf field and staged near the bleachers for the next routine
PAX chose a spot on the bleachers for a round of 11s starting with 1 Derkin and then 10 Step-ups. Worked our way through the whole routine ending with 10 Derkins and 1 Step-up
Moseyed around the gate onto the turf field for the next routine
The 1/4 Pounder
An oldie and a goodie. We lined up on the goal line. On the command ‘go’ we sprinted to the marker, performed the routine, and then moseyed backwards to the goal line again. The exercises were:
25 yard line – 25 Merkins
50 yard line – 50 Squats
75 yard line – 75 Mountain Climbers (Rubicon Count)
100 yard line – 100 SSH’s
Remaining on the goal line we worked on the next routine
Sprinted for 20 seconds and then walked from where we ended up to the other goal line and did 10x merkins. We did this 5 times
Moseyed back to the flag for a final routine
The Brass Monkey Humper
To the sounds of Beastie Boys’ Brass Monkey PAX would hold a Monkey Humper position and perform 1x Monkey Humper every time the song said “monkey” which was not enough honestly, haha.
Finished up with a few minutes of Mary and even included Dropbox for the last few minutes.
Naked Man Moleskin:
Really appreciate those that made it out on this cold, frigid, Saturday to hang with me for a bit. We had a blast and clocked nearly 3 miles in total. Sorry for the late backblast, but I had it on my do to list so I was determined to get it done. Hope you all have a great Easter weekend! Until next time…
