5/31/22  The Buff – & & Up

 

PAX: Slum Lord, Tallyman, Babyface, Paper Jam

Q: Paper Jam

The day started out with a mosey, following by standard warmups (SSH, Weedpickers, Tumbleweeds, Imperial Walkers)

Then we broke out the playing cards (of which anything lower than a 7 had been removed).  We used the cards to determine 2 rounds of pain.  The card’s suit determined the exercise, and the face value determined the count (J=11, Q=12, K=13, A=14).  Anytime a Joker was drawn, the next card’s count would be doubled.

The first round was as follows:

Clubs: 2 arm curls

Spades: Goblet Squat

Diamonds: Halo Lunges

Hearts: Overhead press

After 20 mins, we ran a lap around the parking lot. Then came the fun round:

Clubs: Check press

Spades: American Hammers

Diamonds: Turkish Getups

Hearts: Elf on the Shelf

The last card we acted on was the Ace of Diamonds, representing 14 Turkish Getups.  That was enough to finish everyone off!

 

We ended with a COT including prayers for SlumLord and Aquaman .
