With an eye to the future YHC picked up this Q date a few weeks ago for the sole purpose of still getting a workout in but preserving the legs for a weekend full of elevation. Disclaimer the day before was low mosey and we were skipping leg day. We would literally only use our legs to stay warm. Side note about the impending storm: Still following Alpha on their slack channels was different as all the mumblechatter was about the storm and what they would/should do. Now I’m not on every Cherokee slack channel but even with school cancellations there was not a peep about the storm on any of the channels I follow. Turned out to be a dry morning….with a dose of pain.
Partner exercises had been planned so with an odd number of PAX showing up YHC had to modify quickly. Shoutout to Super Dave for this one. Picked up 2 bags and a cinderblock then headed to the field. Quick lap around the field coupon-less then SSH, Imperial Walkers, Hillbillies, Weedpickers, and Windmills.
Dora 1-2-3 with 3 PAX, exercises – 100 Mahktar N’Diaye’s, 200 Mtn Climbers (Kodiak Count), 300 Plank Jacks.
Partner A would Farmer carry 2 bags to the 50 and back, Partner B would stand still holding the cinder in Zamperini form (5 Curls for a break), Partner C would be doing exercises. When Partner A arrived back at the goal line all 3 PAX rotate.
Upon Completion 2 laps around the field
Dora 1-2-3 round 2, exercises – 100 Big Boys, 200 Shoulder Taps, 300 Buzzsaws. Same rotations as round 1.
Round 2 was completed just a time expired. All coupons picked up and returned to where the flag would normally be.
