I woke up to the sound of the alarm at 0615 and then my wife announced that I was late. She assumed since it was so light outside that I missed the workout. Today is the longest day of the year and the first day of the summer.
Did a quick warm up with side straddle hops and weed pickers. Mosey to the back of the school, partner up. While one ran around the school the other stayed in plank position for a lap and the next lap we were on our backs with our feet 6 inches off the deck. I failed to realize how long of a lap it was around the school but it was a good challenge. Next we moseyed to the front of the school at the bottom of the hill, sprinted up about 100 yards, 10 squats, and walked back to the starting point. We did this 5 times which seemed like more. Then moseyed to the amphitheater. This is where we did 10 merkins, 20 dips, and 30 air presses at a level then ran up and then moved to the second level. We got about 4 levels in before we needed to mosey back to the flag.
on the way back Maaco announced that we are going to get in 4 miles which he thinks is the new record for the AO. My goal was to keep moving the entire time, so mission accomplished!
No prayer requests but lots of workout events happening all over the place in the next couple of weeks. Be on the lookout on Slack.
I enjoyed taking the Q today with the amazing weather with my son Road Runner. Very proud that he kept up and never complained.
