INTRO:

For those old enough to remember the WCW tag team group The Four Horsemen, the group of men at Stoneclad today wrestled with a tough beat down and retained the belt.  Here’s what went down:

WARM-O-RAMA:

Mosey to the far end of parking lot and circle up:

Copperhead Squats x 12

SSH x 12

Mountain Climbers x 10

Weed Pickers x 10

Sun Gods x OYO

Michael Phelps x OYO

THE THANG:

We partnered up at playground and looped a five foot section of rope through the monkey bars and performed some Rope Rows which are similar to partner rows but using rope instead.

Partner A performed 40 rows while Partner B did continuous bench squat jumps and then switched.  We then rinsed and repeated but reduced the rows to 30, 20, & 10 for a total of four rounds.

We then switched to Partner A performing Derkins using the swings and Partner B performing continuous bench step-ups.  The number of Derkins was 20, 15, 10, 5 for a total of four rounds.

We then slow moseyed to the bottom of hill in lower parking lot:

Partner A performed Burpee Broad Jumps half way up hill and side shuffled rest of the way to the top then walked back down to the bottom.  Partner B performed continuous LBCs until partner A returned and switched.  The second time up the shuffle direction switched and the waiting PAX performed continuous Flutter Kicks.

We then slow moseyed back to upper parking lot for some 11’s:

10 calf raises on curb…carioca…1 Carolina Dry Dock…carioca…9 calf raises…carioca…2 Carolina Dry Docks…and so on.

We saved some time for Mary:

Back Scratchers x 10

Box Cutters x 10

American Hammers x 10

Freddie Mercury’s x 10

CIRCLE OF TRUST:

We prayed for the family in the Holly Springs area who recently lost their father/husband and hopes that God will grace those children.

We prayed for Chitwood to have a good meeting/interview for further foster care endeavors.

We prayed for God to help us fight complacency with out own health/diet, family, and work.

Naked-Man Moleskin:

Kiffin didn’t really like my 70’s hard rock playlist and questioned that Ted Nugent’s Cat Scratch Fever even belonged.

Chitwood wasn’t happy with his partner and wanted to change mid-beat down which provided brief confusion.

Good Hands committed for his VQ next Thursday…and we can’t wait!
