WARMUP: watched canton PD arrest a shady suspect that almost got wheelin’ on the prerun. Luckily instincts kicked in and he ran an alternate road to avoid the subject.
THE THANG: Run down Marietta st to harmon/legion fields scoping out the vast darkness ahead as we made a right at the end of the road. When we got chills of people on the lawns scoping us out, we made a left and headed up hill. Mater found a new speed gear called the fear of left behind and didn’t let the speed of Fifth wheel and wheelin get to far away. As we reached a more public area we made another left and went back across this dark part of town as a slow moving vehicle approached from the rear. Mater shouted car and the 2 lead runners went to the right side of road and Mater chose the Left so that it would make a harder split for the car to get a strike. Finally we reached Marietta street again and turned left back to town until we found Longview dr. Having ample time we turned right and took Longview the backwards way (not a fan of those that participated) finding lots of quite suburban homes with a slight rustle in the woods of the predators watching upon us. We made our way to Golf Course dr and saw the task presented upon us, the never-ending hill. With a don’t stop running speech by the mountain goat himself Wheelin. All 3 of us made it up Golf Course dr with out stopping which is Maters first time accomplishing this goal. Turned left on main street and headed back to the flag some got 4.5 miles some got more due to the slower pace of the 6 but all were tired and enjoyed the wonderful fall weather!!
