Intro:
Anniversary beatdown for YHC, so I wanted to make it memorable.
Warm-o-Rama:
Short mosey to 25 SSH and 10 Merkins in cadence.
The Thang:
FEEL GOOD MARCH!
Coupon carry overhead, arms extended straight up, for 1/2 mile down past the tennis courts to Eagle Dr. But no big deal, any PAX can call a break with the magic words “I FEEL GOOD” and then lead everyone in 10 single count merkins on-coupon. Then right back at it.
After probably 10 stops along the way for merkins we got down to Eagle Drive and knocked out 6 minutes of Mary all in cadence starting with 50 Flutter Kicks, 15 canopener crunches each leg, and whatever else we did to pass the time. I think we finished this off with a few monkey humpers? It got fuzzy there after the next exercise.
If we felt good on our hike down, we felt GREAT on our way up:
Overhead coupon carry, stop at each light post for Man Makers: 15 at the first light, 14 at the second, etc. After climbing what we now lovingly refer to Matchstich hill (named for the SOB who’s miserable snot woggle of a beatdown christened this god forsaken stretch of asphalt at our AO) YHC reinstated the rules of the I FEEL GOOD march back to our starting point to finish out our total mile of coupon carries, merkins, and Man Makers.

The 45 minute thunderstorm pre-run today was exciting, and no one was struck by lightning. We *almost* got Maaco to drink a cup of coffee…. we’ll keep workin’ on him.
