Intro:

2nd-F inspired beatdown with the bros, demands brokins and bropees

Warm-o-Rama:

Start on Time, End on Time. As we mosied around the parking lot, 2 more pax cruised in for the fun. Circled up with all of them…
– Side Straddle Hop (SSH), x10 In-Cadence (IC)
– Windmills x10 IC
– Weed Pickers x7 IC
– Imperial Walkers (to see if the pax are paying attention to the cadence/demonstration) x10 IC. Every new Q should try to lead this one.

The Thang:

During the mosey to field #1, YHC expounded on the 2nd F (Fellowship, the Glue) as compared to the 1st F (Fitness, the Magnet). We're out here for the pax next to us. If we fartsack, it gives them permission to fartsack, and we all die.

YHC realized the grass on field #1 provided very little comfort as the permafrost gave way less than the asphalt. Let's warm up the field:
Partner 11s –
Bro-pee (def): Burpee with a jumping high-five with the partner at the end of each rep.
Bro-kin (def): Merkin with an alternating patty-cake partner hand-slap at the top of the press.
– In pairs (and 1 menage o` three), perform 10 bropees, run to the other side of the field, then 1 brokin.
– Run back and do 9 bropees, then run and do 2 brokins.
– Continue, always adding to 11 reps for each round trip of the field.
– As the first sets of partners finish, Homeboy does a mini Q-School where a few of the pax get to pick an ab exercise and Q it, paying special attention to the structure: Next Exercise is… <this>; Starting Position… MOVE; In Cadence… EXERCISE
– Pick up the six and time to move on.
The Pax were a merry bunch of fellows during this routine… let's do more burpees…

Hop over to field #2 where YHC created 4 corners with some PVC left on the field (about 25yd x 50yd). Began a routine of Hindenberg Blimps, with plenty of audibles and changes throughout to keep the pax together and ending on time.
– 10 burpees per corner, OYO (On your own), running to the next corner after the 10. Grumbles and Mumblechatter of "who's idea was this?" YHC agrees. Pax plank for the six and discuss more 2nd F and communication strategies (ie, Slack)
– Next round is 20 lunges, each leg counts as 1 (Rubicon count, in F3 Cherokee speak). Repeat 20 at each corner. This allowed more good chatter about 2nd F.
– Next round is 10 Merkins per corner, with a twist. On the longer side of our rectangle field, the pax perform partner carries, piggy-back style. Each partner has the chance to carry the other as the circuit is completed.
– Running out of time, we're not going to get through BLIMPS… time to Squat in cadence at YHC's discretion. After 20 or 30 or so, YHC calls a hold at the bottom of the squat. Then more squats in cadence, with a final hold at the bottom and a final countdown from 10.

Mosey back to the flag and finish on time!

COT:

‘- Count off
– Name-o-rama (Cherokee style: hospital name, age, F3 name. RESPECT! for pax at 50+)
– 6th man story (Bare Arse). Allows pax to know more pax and sets an example for FNGs. We learned his naming story and a bit about his family.
– Prayer/Support requests from the 6th man (Bare Arse, focused in this season on Integrity. Most Excellent!)
– Swedish Ham asks for strength against temptations that is Every Man's Battle, but inspires the pax with his bravery and honesty with his M.
– Appreciations expressed all around, from Cherokee for being invited to the Asylum, and from Asylum for the assist from Cherokee.

Naked Man Moleskin:

This beatdown was so inspiring for YHC. It felt like a VQ with very restless sleep the night before and it was WORTH IT! The Asylum pax are a super-welcoming and enthusiastic bunch. They are going to take over sad-clown-town of West Cobb and create a legacy. YHC is excited to be a small part and watch it grow.
