Intro:
Some people (my M) think us PAX touch each other too much……who cares what they think!
Warm-o-Rama:
Quick mosey up the sidewalk and down the steps to the middle lawn, 15 SSHs, 10 Windmills, 10 Weedpickers, Sungods
The Thang:
YHC has been a little obsessed with the 2nd F and driving it home regularly with the PAX over the last few weeks, so today was all exercises done with a partner. We started out with 11s across the middle lawn from sidewalk to sidewalk with bropees on one side and pattycake merkins on the other. Next we did a little routine inspired by my 2.0s swim team practice, called the snake. The PAX started out on the lowest terrace of the clinic doing 10 burpees each while pertner planked waiting for their turn, then switch, then run around and up to the next level. Second level was 20 mike tysons while partner did mountain climbers, then switch. Third level was 30 squats while partner does Al Gore, then switch. Fourth level was 40 monkey humpers while partner does Al Gore. On the Fifth level, 50 big boy situps while partner does flutter kicks.
Once everyone recovered from the Hank Hill "fart smelled round the world" we went back down to the middle lawn for 1 more round of partner 11s On one sidewalk the PAX performed Squerkins, and on the other sidewalk partner shrugs. Did finish the full set, but circled up at the flag on time. Looking back, YHC should have incorporated more running in the snake, but nevertheless lots of groaning ensued in the midst of completion.
COT:
Homer was the 6th man, he doesnt speak a lot, but when he does powerful things are said. Proud to be working out with such good men, especially ones like Homer. Prayers we lifted for Carmen SanDiego's 2.0, and for strength and wisdom for every man in F3. YHC briefly diacussed the importance of having our fellow PAX for support in life as we are not meant to go through life alone. Announcements were made about 2 new AOs opening, 1 at woodstock city church, and another at Hobgood.
Naked Man Moleskin:
I dont think I can say this enough. When you need encouragement, reach out to your F3 brothers. We are here to support one another. I have completed things physically that I never thought I could, and it is all because of my fellow brothers. Thank you all. We can do good things on our own, but we can do greater things together.
