Who would have thought we’d be 24 days into a ruck challenge that called for you to complete only 7 days worth of exercises… but here we are. In January we had the resolute ruckers. Now it’s April and we have the remedial ruckers just trying to make the deadline for that patch.

I've heard you do warm-ups on your own time so we got right to the ruck.

This is Day 5 of the GORUCK April Ruck Challenge: Lucky Number 7.

So Thrasher and I are in the middle our 10-set not too far from the Kodiak flag when an unknown Pax runs up, grabs the flag and heads back to the street. The Kodiak Pax were across the street at the middle school and we assumed the flag was being moved over there. We later came to realize The Morning Wood was in a game of single-player capture-the-flag.

It's yet to be seen if this sort of activity between nearby AOs will become a thing but if it does I think it's only a matter of time before the first guy trying to capture the flag gets ambushed and tagged ala paintball/airsoft/etc. I can't wait to read that backblast.
