Intro:

Last week:
Legionnaire: “We should clown car”
Me: “Great idea we can meet at Publix!”

This week:
Me: (flies right by Publix)
Legionnaire: Guess that means no Clown Car…

It was a cold and gloomy morning at the Castle Black’s North Wall. No worries, there’s enough in this beatdown to shed layers even on the coldest of March mornings.

Warm-o-Rama:

0530 Mosey! Around the front parking lot and over to the bridge on the way out.

Disclaimer given with our FNG present.

15x SSH
15x Imperial Walkers
15x Weed Pickers

(Kinda stuck on 15's today)

Michael Phelps OYO

The Thang:

Thang 1:
– 15 4×4's
– 4×4's are Burpees, but with 4 Merkins followed by 4 Mountain Climbers (both legs = 1)
– YHC must be cranky on cold mornings, so we hit the hard stuff early
– Told you I was stuck on 15's today

Thang 2:
– The Inaugural Castle Black Quarter Mile
– From crosswalk at the bridge, down to the crosswalk at the entrance, and back up the hill is exactly 0.25 Miles

Thang 3:
– B.O.M.B.S.!!! (((Shhh I mean bombs)))
– You have to say it quietly, this is a school after all
– Partner UP! We had 8, luckily an even number
– One partner runs a lap around front of school, other performs exercises, then switch
– As a team, perform the following:
– 50 Burpees
– 100 Overheads (We did Carolina Dry Docks)
– 150 Merkins
– 200 Big Boy Sit-ups
– 250 Squats

Wrapped up with about 3 Minutes of Mary called out by various PAX

COT:

Discussed several of the various CSAUP events coming up. Hit up Slack!
Prayers for Alcoa, still battling shingles while he's traveling in India.
Prayers for Aphrodite, adopting his two little ones (3 & 5 yr olds).
Prayers for marriages and families.

Naked Man Moleskin:

Barbershop, Cricket's Bro-in-law, is in the music business. He's a crooner who sings the classic big band stuff. Not only that, the dude can RUN. Great to meet ya' – would love to see you out there again sometime Barbershop!

Earhart was the man with the Coffeteria this morning complete with Cream and Salted Caramel Flavor. 2 pumps for me! Thanks!

Legionnaire – sorry about the Clown Car screwup, I'll do better next week.

Aisle 7 – had to skedaddle for the 2.0's but great to see him out at another AO last week.

Wilson – Good work today brother, it won't get easier you just get stronger!

Cricket and Aphrodite – I keep waiting for some stories about zone defense with all the kids. I think it's 9 between the two of ya…

It was an honor to protect the north wall while our founder and fearless leader Dixie Chick was out of town. See you soon!
