All about the formations today…

PAX line up:
Bataan Death March – PAX at 6 drops and does 5 Burpees, then runs to front, rinse and repeat
Go from one line to two lines – more Burpees!
Get to bottom of crazy incline –
Stay in two lines –
Indian Bear Crawls: 6 crawls to front, PAX all do Merkins while waiting for their turn
Go to 2nd Light up – YHC's arms are gassed, 3 rotations in all – Merkins turned into Carolina Dry Docks, time to change it up
Mosey to top of the hill
WELCOME TO BURP BACK MOUNTAIN!
Partner up, 1st PAX runs down hill, backwards up while 2nd PAX does Burpees, have to get to 100 total done – Burpee until 6 is in

Duck Weave Walks – Two groups again, all PAX duck walk, 6 runs and weaves between PAX to front, Quacks to let new 6 know to go (4 rotations)
Crab Indian Walk – Two groups, PAX do LBCs on their six while awaiting their turn, 6 Crab Walks to front
Running low on time and too much mumble chatter, all PAX Crab Walk to cars by flag
Mosey to flag
Really quick, 30 secs left, 10 hands free Merkins to finish, now all PAX are soaked through nicely

Naked Man Moleskin:

Woke up expecting to hear downpour, not happening, Irish luck continues to hold as the last Q I had at Blacktop had the same results
Pulled in, got a good crowd of 9…Smurfette is anxious to begin, jumping around, his mumble chatter is 5x faster than normal. YHC concerned. Seemed Smurfette has had 10 cups of coffee prior to beatdown and was finishing an espresso as we circled up. Prayers for his addiction.
#10 Heisenberg rolls in at 0459, defying the rain and embracing it as freedom like Andy Dufresne did in Shawshank.

#11 Pappy pulls in just in time to miss the mosey, his favorite thing to do, hated that he missed it
We got through the warm ups, despite Luckycharms trying to correct YHC about arm positions in the squats of Mountain Man Poopers
YHC explains the Thang and we begin, now 0512, truck almost hits YHC…
#12 Matchstick comes in attempting to take his frustration about being late out on PAX by running over YHC…Need to find good counseling for Swisher and Matchstick at this point
YHC does not understand where the aggression is coming from, but head is on a swivel now. Advising all PAX to be careful around these two.

Got to Bear Crawls and Merkins up the hill, not understanding why PAX were not more excited about doing the impossible. It finally dawns on YHC we may not make it up after Merkins morph into CDDs. YHC calls one more rotation, then changes mind to make it to the next light. This obviously offended some PAX, YHC prayed for their sensitivity to abate.

Lexi decided he didn't want to run in formation up the hill and started racing his shadow upwards.

YHC went to run up Burp Back Mountain with Pappy, he was pushing hard to finish. Turn head and see PAX having tea party at top when YHC specifically asked Lexi and Smurfette to get PAX to do burpees until 6 was in. As Lexi and Smurfette clinked their cups together and heard YHC yelling at them, they were cut to the heart so much they attempted 2 more burpees over the next minute. Really proud of the "effort" up there while I was gone.

Began Duck Walking, Smurfette, still hyped up on Mountain Dew, had the mumble chatter going to a 10, and forgot to quack up front. Took 5 PAX yelling at him to get him to quack finally.

Lexi snuck in a hoverboard to ride on the crab walks back to cars/flag.

Got PAX down for hands free Merkins, no one was happy, made YHC laugh like a madman to finish the beatdown. Hard to call cadence while you are laughing like an idiot.
