Intro:

As the new Kodiak Site Q I noticed 4/1 was open so I took it. Realizing later it was April Fools day I really tried to come up with something witty on how to spin the beatdown today. Then I realized I am not witty so I just went with a plan which would certainly challenge YHC and hopefully the rest of the PAX as well.

Warm-o-Rama:

With Cricket sliding in right at startex, we took a long mosey around the parking lot which included a little left karaoke, a little right karaoke, and some butt kickers. Circled up for SSHs, Weed Pickers, Imperial Walkers, and Sun Gods. After finishing up warm o rama, we swung by the flag to pickup phone / speaker and then headed to the football field.

The Thang:

I realized we have done a lot of 11 routines in recent weeks so YHC thought we should do a blackjack 21 routine this morning to get started. PAX lined up on sideline for 21's which included Squats and LBC's. Started with 20 Squats and 1 LBC (on the opposite side line) and worked our way down/up to 1 Squat and 20 LBC's. Cricket noted that until you get to approx 5 LBC's you generally look like you are jsut wiggling on the ground!!

All the PAX worked hard but callout to Promise Ring for knocking this one out in record time and was ready for more!

Next we circled up (more like squared up) for a somewhat modified Sleeping Hillbilly! Pax started in left plank for 12 4 count Nolan Ryans. Rolled onto our back for 20 4 count Boss Tweeds. Rolled into right plank for…wait for it…12 4 count Nolan Ryans. Finished up with 20 4 count plank jacks.

For the next pearl we headed onto the track. A quick time check revealed it was 6:05, pleeeenty of time to squeeze in a…..BURPEE MILE!! (No April Fool's joke here!!). Called out a burpee mile with 12 burpees after each 1/4 mile. Tebow, Promise Ring, and Cricket got 3 laps / 36 burpees in (YHC not so much) before we hit 6:15 and scrambled back to the flag for COT / BOM.

COT:

Prayers for Bloomers dad (Bobby) who is going in Thursday to get a scan of his lung for possible lung cancer. Prayers for all F3 brothers and their families who are traveling this week for spring break. YHC tagged onto Goat Milk's message from Saturday B0.0MTown where he reminded us to remember that God takes the long view and sometimes His timelines dont match up with our timelines or expectations. As I reflected on that over the weekend, I was reminded that we should always pray with confidence and expection that our prayers are heard and God will answer them. So be intentional with prayer, pray with expectation, and always consider Gods timing.

Naked Man Moleskin:

Bloomers keeps hitting it hard week in week out…keep up the good work brother! Tebow, take care of that knee. Glad you are healed up and back out in the gloom.

All AO's are closed down on 4/13 except for the launch of War Town (Hobgood) on 4/13. If you are not in one of the races (Spartan / Sarcoma) be sure to support Dizzy and Pie Bar with the launch of this soon to be famous AO!!
