The Thang: Partner up! One partner runs the loop near the playground bathrooms while the other does as many LBCs as possible. Collectively each pairing did 1000 LBCs. Al Gore for the six.

With the warm up out of the way. We moseyed to the Football Field. From the middle of the field on the goal line, wheelbarrow ten yards. Sprint to the sideline, mosey back to the goal line then burpee broad jump from sideline back to the starting cone. Then switch with partner for his 10 yard wheel barrow (rinse and repeat on sprint, mosey, and burpee broad jumps). Repeat for 20 yard and 30 yard wheelbarrows for each partner.

I needed a 20 second count after that! Then back to the flag for 5 minutes of Mary.

COT: Praise God for Misty’s son’s recovery from surgery. Lifting up F3 brothers and families dealing with cancer (seems like a lot right now). Prayers for Manning’s neighbor who lost everything in a house fire. Prayers that we become more sensitive to things of this world that remain in our lives that shouldn’t.

Naked Man Moleskin: Read James 1:27. Read it again. We are supposed to be unstained by the world. How do we even do that? What does it mean to be unstained. Let’s wrestle with these questions–find answers–then act on it. We don’t have to look like the world to be culturally relevant. My guess is we will be saying goodbye to some things we like (or love) if we take this seriously. This is all for a purpose–a deeper relationship with Jesus. That’s what we all want, right?
