Intro:

Never a dull moment at the chatterbox!. I already suck at cadence count but try anyway; add the good ole ridicule that comes with the chatterbox and a blooper reel is sure to follow. Wasn’t as muddy of a beatdown as I forewarn so I served up some mud in the end, well for YHC at least.

Warm-o-Rama:

Mosey around track to far corner of field
Unknown number of SSH, Garfield screwed up my count. so I just kept going without a count, some fast, some slow; it was a mess But it was exercise none the less.
Wind Mills old man style and weed pickers to follow, not much improvement here on the count or rhythm

The Thang:

Started with a much needed Belching routine: it calls for the PAX to line up and run across the field dropping down to the ground when Q drops and calls down, back up and running when Q goes, down and up again for length of field. I added in some things to this routine for added fun: elbow plank when we are on the ground, break for ab work in middle of field and end. Mountain climbers IC or cluster count, then LBFC's for 10 (these hurt so good); on the way back ab work was 10 leg raises IC and cat scratches (fingers to heels to work the obliques), I wasn't sure the F3 name for it, Garfield called it cat scratch. Next was mosey to the playground with a bit of misdirection. At the playground bodies hit the floor routine against the white wall. Donkey kick every time song says "bodies hit the floor" (26 DK's), merkin (21) every time you hear a number 1,2,3 or 4, plank the whole time. Next we mosey back to the field for some Thunder. keep chopping while listening to Thunder by Imagine dragons, squat on every Thunder (91 thunders / squats maybe more, it's hard to count them all), and a lighting fast burpee (10 lightnings) when you here the lyric lightning (this one is not in the exicon… yet). Last routine was balckjack: run from sideline to sideline, one merkin on one side, and 20 LBC's on the other, LBC's count goes down one and merkin goes up one each time always equaling 21 reps total. For the HIM's that finish before time ran out this is 210 LBC's, 210 merkins, and a lot of running.

COT:

Started the circle of trust with YHC showing some humility and owning up to my mentions of this beatdown "going to be a muddy one". Since no one was muddy other than their sneakers, I completed one burpee (4 total) in a mud puddle for each HIM who completed black jack before time was up (Hard Hittin, Drumstick, Huffy, Garfield) to honor their hard work. This exercise started at end of the beatdown but rolled into COT (probably where it belonged anyway). Drumstick made announcements of the upcoming convergences and led us in a prayer.

Naked Man Moleskin:

Fun time with the men of the chatterbox as usual. The mumble chatter is always the best out there, the ridicule is honest and keeps you strong. The HIM's that finish black jack in 18 minutes or less (Hard Hittin, Drumstick, Huffy, and Garfield) showed serious tenacity. All the PAX showed heart as this was an hour of mostly running and ab work. Sgt. Slaughter may have been the only one to know when lighting strikes in the thunder song (must be on his playlist). As I took off shirts today for my mud bath I revealed to the PAX today my base layer that keeps me warm on the cold beatdowns in the gloom, three inches thick of hair that covers my back (must be from my Spanish roots). Also, revealed another one of my bright ideas from my teenage years, I got a Puerto Rican flag tattoo on my arm when I was 15, I don't even speak Spanish haha; it was cool back then; not thinking about how that decision and many others would be with me for the rest of my life. It's good to see Lexi and the other F3 men bringing their boys out with us to work out in the gloom; I was up to no good as a teenager and could've benefited from working out with some HIM's.
