Intro:

What a fantastic group this morning! It was awesome to see some PAX who haven’t visited Stoneclad in sometime as well as a few guys who were indoctrinated in the Stoneclad way this morning.

Warm-o-Rama:

SSH, Cone taps with air push, Mtn. Man Poopers, Shoulder Taps, Steve Earle's, Sun Gods

The Thang:

We began with a ight mosey around parking lot to the stone pile. Each PAX found the perfect stone for his liking. PAX then partnered up, and we began Diego. One PAX did backwards lunge with a stone twist on each step 1/2 down parking lot and a Cusak Carioca on the way back (carioca with stone overhead). The other PAX began the following partner counts: 100 merkins with stone, 150 overhead presses with stone, and 200 LBC's with stone.
Next we started Moving Stones.–PAX in two lines 10 yards apart with stones at front of one line. The last PAX in 2nd line ran to stones (in front of 1st line) and moved them to front of his line while PAX holds plank. The last person in other line went to the front and moved the stones all to the front of his line. After PAX moved stones he did LBC’s. For time sake we modified to Big Boy Sit-ups for everyone and moved only the biggest stone instead of the entire pile.
Finally, we did Stoneorama–circle of PAX holding rock and each PAX takes a turn pushing it down. PAX started with curls, then skull crushers, and finally kettle bell swings with stone.

COT:

Mouth 2 Mouth's family member in a car wreck and is recovering at Kennestone. Prayers for Almost's wife as she has a procedure today. All unsaid prayers were lifted up.

Naked Man Moleskin:

I've seen quite a few co-workers retire recently after long productive careers. While I am excited for their next chapter, I am amazed how much work continues without these folks. The same can be said when someone leaves a company. My takeaway is we put so much time into our jobs, but at the end of a career the work carries on. Although work is important, I want to invest as much of myself into people who I love and who truly matter to me. I want to shift my focus and energy a bit.
