Intro:

YHC had never been to the Clinic and received an invite/challenge after and Angry Romanian threatened to bring the pain, I think we call these terrorists. Anyways, research discovered today was National Medal of Honor Day! YHC loves to bring attention to Veterans so lets do this THANG.

Pulled in to meet Gut Check for a prebeatdown ruck and soon realized SYITG did not fit the Clinic. It was shining bright like a diamond, no head lamps needed and gloves were not needed this morning either

The Thang:

Circle up to explain we were going to honor a few Medal of Honor Recepients.
Michael Murphy-was a United States Navy SEAL officer who was awarded the U.S. military's highest decoration, the Medal of Honor, for his actions during the War in Afghanistan. He was the first member of the U.S. Navy to receive the award since the Vietnam War [1]. His other posthumous awards include the Silver Star Medal (which was later upgraded to the Medal of Honor) and the Purple Heart.
Desmand Doss-was a United States Army corporal who served as a combat medic with an infantry company in World War II. He was twice awarded the Bronze Star Medal for actions in Guam and the Philippines. Doss further distinguished himself in the Battle of Okinawa by saving 75 men,[a] becoming the only conscientious objector to receive the Medal of Honor for his actions during the Second World War.[b] His life has been the subject of books, the documentary The Conscientious Objector, and the 2016 film Hacksaw Ridge.
Michael Blout- who sprinted 1.6k to save his men in a foxhole wearing 80pounds of gear.

We started with modified version of the Murph. Did rounds of 10 Burpees/ 20 merkins / 30 squats with a lap between the road and back parking lot. In order to honor the rest of these men we cut things early after 5-6 rounds. Waiting for the six we knocked out Captain Thors. Almost finished a full set.

Next went to the far right hill for some 11's. Desmand Doss rescued around 100 men and lowering them down a 400 foot ridge. So we ran up and down the amphitheater walls with XO's at the bottom and Jlo's at the top. Waiting for the six we did air squats and squat jumps on the top ledge.

Just enough time to mosey over to the hill by the street and intoduce Lt Dan all the way back to the flag with Frog Humpers to finish things off!

Everyone knows Homeboy and Drumstick are basically the same people, right? Well, I've noticed in the past how Homeboy jumps back doing his burpees, well today I noticed the hardcore burpees Drumstick does by basically planking mid-air, falling down into the merkin (Respect) As I finish writing this Aqualad is making very loud grunting noises trying to push one out!
