Intro:

I’ve missed getting a chance to come to the Kodiak, and lucky for me my M had the Thursday Q for FiA, leaving me wide open for a Wednesday Beatdown. Hey, look at that the Q sheet says “open”, not anymore! Let’s make some magic happen!

Warm-o-Rama:

Let’s take a quick lap around the parking lot then circle up for some IC:
Imperial Walkers, Copperhead Squats, and Sun Gods. Wait, Merkin Challenge starts today, Let’s knock out 25 Merkins!

The Thang:

Mosey over to the wall of the school for a quick rundown of the fun to come, a special kind of Dora. We start with 300 Merkins, as one PAX runs around the school, the other gets going on the merkins. At 50 Merkins the PAX stops and starts to run after his partner. If he catches and passes him on the run, 1st check your merkin form, 2nd damn you must be a beast, and 3rd tag your partner to do 5 burpees where he stands before he can continue on back to the wall. Continue this until all 300 merkins are complete then wall sit for the 6. Next up 200 donkey kicks, same format with the sets of 25. Once complete, we were pretty short on time so we were unable to get to the 100 Seal Situps that I had planned, maybe next time.
Back to the flag. Apparently, Promise Ring needed more, because when I called on him to start the count he called for Crunchy Frogs, hold on there young pup, we’re done, you can go do that on your own.

That was A LOT of running/constant motion this morning. Great work by the whole group for pushing yourselves and me. I am not sure if anyone other than me was caught, thank you Bloodhound. Nothing like being chased down by a 50+-year-old, but at least the guy is a beast.
