Intro:

Today for my VQ we used our Brothers to strengthen, well, everything. We lifted, carried, and even dragged each other. The Beatdown could not be completed without our Brothers. The conditions were terrible, so they were perfect. Water, mud, and the weird feeling of being wet and cold while also being hot.

Warm-o-Rama:

2 lap warm up with the pace increasing on the second lap.
Side Straddle Hop
Weed Pickers

The Thang:

For distances of 50 and 100 m Fireman's Carry, Wheel Borrows (followed by decline pushup 25) , body drag (which steals your soul), Forearm litter carry.

25 piggy back squats

Then we played patty cake. 50 sit-ups… real sit-ups, where you locked legs with your brother and came up to clap hands. We did 25 the second time through the beatdown. After getting our butts wet it was time to rollover to our stomachs and planked. We faced our partners lifted our one hand and the opposite leg, then alternated 50 times.

We did that 2 times through.

To finish we did 10 mins of three yoga poises. Warrior, Eagle, and a very deep prayer

COT:

Garfield was our 6th man. He told us how turning to Jesus saved him from and life that was destructive to himself and others.

Toga asked for prayers for his family as his FIL battles bladder cancer.
Helen Keller request prayers for his family and himself as he is in a period of very painful transition

Naked Man Moleskin:

This was Helen Keller's first q. The idea was to drive home the point of needing you brother and the importance of being there for him too. Sometimes the need dragging to get them where they need to be. It is a blessing to be able to carry your brother, to be strong for another individual.
