Intro:

A Spartan for the Southside

Warm-o-Rama:

We started with a long mosey to get to the only gate that was open for the football field, we then had to mosey a short way around the back of the field to get to another gate that was open. We ended on the football field for some SSH and weedpickers. And of course a disclaimer and explanation.

The Thang:

I wanted to bring the Spartan beatdown to the awesome men of the Vineyard so we all lined up on the goal line of the football field. I explained that we would sprint 100 yards, perform 25 LBCs and then walk back to the starting goal line. A simple plan for a beat down that gets real hard real quick and keeps the PAX together, all while keeping the intensity wherever the individual wants it to be. Beat down notes, Spock is a sandbagger and freaky fast, we all know by now that Tiny Tat is inhuman, and don’t try to race a teenager named Wrangler.

COT:

Tiny Tat was our 6th man for today, he grew up here and met his wife at UGA, GO DAWGS! YHC asked Tiny Tat for some parenting advice since he has 5 kids and his answer was short and to the point, “Admit that you don’t know anything.” I love it because it is true. He was EHd by Drumstick and his goal for 2019 is to be more talkative and open so that he can form better relationships with people by communicating better. Awesome, thank you Tiny Tat for the wisdom and strength that you bring to the group, all of the PAX are better for having you around.

Naked Man Moleskin:

I shared with the group that I was listening to Eric Erickson on WSB radio and he was talking about how his men’s small group had ended and he was troubled by finding out how much he needs men in his life, in close proximity to him, that he can share with, learn from and be built up by. I wanted to call in to his radio show so bad and tell him about F3! It’s true men, how many male friends did you have, not including family, before you started F3? Unfortunately, if you were like me, it was just a couple. And of those couple of friends I didn’t see them very often, I didn’t share life with them like I should. Being able to be around the men of F3 is incredible. I don’t talk much and I usually don’t bring up things in the Gloom that make me vulnerable but just listening to you guys and hearing your struggles has been an incredible experience. BROTHERHOOD is how I would describe it. As Col Trotti said, we are a Band of Brothers, and for that I am forever grateful to you guys.
