Intro:
Douglas Adams taught us that 42 was the answer. With that in mind we set out to do everything in 42. Each part of the body was stressed for 42 seconds or 42 reps. followed by 42 seconds of running. The hurt was dished out 42 at a time.
There was a deeper meaning for me with the number 42. Since I was 12 or 13 when I first read the Hitch Hikers Guide to the Galaxy, it was a influential book. 6 weeks ago I decided to actually pray. Now I have a new dedication a better book. One that if We are true fillers
will save our souls.
Warm-o-Rama:
1/2 mile warm up run, follow-ed by side straddle hop, windmills, and weed pickers (which I call cherry pickers. I guess the cherries were on the ground)
The Thang:
This left us 42 (okay a little more) mins to hurt. It started off simple enough with 42 merkins. Then a run across the field for 42 seconds. Each 42 second run was followed by a different exercise from yoga poses to body weight work. You know its working when the complaining starts, which ironically it was at 42 mins (or so). The dizziness set in and I kind of blacked out so the details are fuzzy.
