INTRO:

Chop’s VQ today so woke at 03:30 for last minute planning of mission from Exicon to make the boys proud.

WARM-O-RAMA:

A mozy from flag at the higher elevation Patriots plateau down to backside, plains of the true Lions Den. Chops circled up PAX for breathless disclaimer for our FNG, followed by cadence SSH, Weed Pickers, Windmills, Sungods, Micheal Phelps.

THE THANG:

Staying down on the lower Lions Den plain for 1st 1/3 of work. YHC discovered nice treat in exicon at 04:00, so grab a curb section and each of the PAX gets a OYO 12 count on each rotation of a Wheel of Merkin. Followed that up with a curb to curb lung fest, then crossing the chasm to and fro bear crawl, then collection of Carolina Dry Docks (i think, possibly more, VQ fog has me fuzzy).

Then a mozy back up the hill to a Patriot plateau grassy knoll for some Jack Webb. Knocked out 1 merkins, and air presses at 10+ count routine up to 50. Mixed in some Carolina Dry Docks at higher rep count. The shoulders were burning for many of the PAX.  Finished off 2nd 1/3 with 25 LBC’s.

Short mozy ~50 yards over to the main Patriot plateau for 3rd 1/3 of workout which was a light pole to light pole jog laps capped with a rotation of the PAX selecting a card from a deck of Exicon goodies to lead a 12x of said fun. Got in a kaleidoscope of goodness including Crunchy Frogs, WWII Set Ups, Copperhead Squats, Burpees, Monkey Humpers, Mike Tysons, Mountain Climbers, Reverse Crunches, and Carolina Dry Docs after each lap. Finalized in time for return to the flag for COT.

CIRCLE OF TRUST:

Prayers for family in crisis & marriages. Announcements of upcoming events including Cherokee Challenge Ruck, Thanksgiving morning 5:30a convergence BD at Veterans, and following flag football game (sounds like we gonna need an Aflac rep present IMHO).

Many assumed Chops, the consistent 6 at Lions Den, was gonna take it easy but his factory of pain caused some whining.

Great to have new FNG -> Boston finally join us this morning. Been inviting him for months. He’s a Former Marine and Connecticut PD, but peddles liquor now… go figure LOL. Great husband, father & friend.
