INTRO:

First, I tried to think of something Witty or clever for a Beatdown Name.  I had nothing.  Planned a workout based on a 1:4 ratio, so why not just give the name the same theme.  That is all.

YHC did NOT want to get out of bed and get to it this AM.  Was under the weather and the covers were dry and warm.  But, I knew there were men out there that we depending on me.  So YHC launched himself up and out of the bed (overslept a little), dressed, walked the dog, and raced (drove carefully) to the beautiful merlot fields at The Vineyard.  There the PAX stood.  With 2 minutes to spare, YHC greeted everyone and we mosied.

WARM-O-RAMA:

PAX all mosied to the front of the school where we circled up for a little warm up.  YHC warned the PAX at that time that he was feeling a little under the weather and that he might indeed hack his lungs up on the concrete this morning.

THE THANG:

On to the good stuff. YHC described the rest of the workout.  Starting with letting the PAX know that every exercise would be 1:4 ratio with the first exercise being a 1 count and next being a 4; then 2:8; 3:12, and so on.  Quantity of each set would be first exercise to 10 and second to 40.  After each set, PAX were to SPRINT to end of parking lot loop and then JOG rest of the way back.

Excercise sets consisted of the following:

Bearpees (1 Burpee : 4 Bear Crawl(Left and Right count as 1))
Captain Thor (1 BBS : 4 American Hammers)
LT Dans (1 Squat : 4 Lunges(Rubicon))
Jack Webbs (1 Merkin : 4 Air Raises)

YHC should have left the Bear Crawls at a rubicon count as it took much longer than anticipated.  PAX finished this series of exercises with 1 minute to mosy back to the flag.  With school out and most folks out of work for the week, no one minded going over just a minute or two.

CIRCLE OF TRUST:

PAX listed out upcoming events.  

Discussed the changes for the Vineyard days coming up and also the Convergence for the New Year.

Some PAX had prayer request/praises for health concerns and wins.  Prayed for our own health and safety throughout the rest of the season.
