INTRO:
There seemed to be a need for a regular beatdown on Thanksgiving due to the number of men who could not show up for the Flag football game at 7:00. So I offered to Q. For me, it may have been the coldest beatdown since last winter. Thanksgiving; 5:30 AM; Cold; 14 men wanting to get better; Chitwood offering to take 15 min of the beatdown; what could be better? Let’s Mosey!

THE THANG:
We start with a Quarter Pounder. Run to the 25 and 25 Hurpees (hand release Burpees) and back to the goal line. Run to the 50 and 50 Hand release Merkins (Sucked a lot) and back. Run to the opposite 25 with 75 BBS’s and back. Run to the opposite goal line with 100 LBC’s and back. A few ran back and did more LBC’s to pick up the 6 together and finished together.
Next up is Chitwood. He has us all sprint 100 yards and then had PAX that has never Q’d call out a Mary in cadence and Mosey back. We repeated this at least 3 times maybe more.. felt like a lot more. YHC remembers Dizzy, Cousteau, and Graffiti calling out Marys. After the Quarter Pounder and then multiple 100 yard sprints things started to get fuzzy for YHC. One thing I remember is there are a lot of PAX faster than YHC.
Back to YHC as Q, we pulled out Compass Merkins. This was new for YHC. Line up on goal line in plank position with plenty of room in between each PAX. Q call direction and number of degrees in that direction (EX: Right 90 Degrees) in 90 degree increments. Then at each stop and increasing amount of 4 count Merkins IC. Not sure how many stops we made but YHC was still fuzzy from the sprints and now the shoulders were starting to burn.
Next up was ATM’s. Another new one for YHC. Starting in the plank and not leaving plank we cycled through Alternating Shoulder Taps, Tempo Merkins and Merkins all IC. Now the shoulders are completely finished.
Finish up with Lt. Dans from the goal line to the 50 and back. We kept the normal 4 lunges for every squat ratio. each time we did the Squats IC to keep the PAX together. Not sure what YHC was thinking, with the football game looming but I still blame the Chitwood sprints.
Mosey back to the Flag and Mary to time…
CIRCLE OF TRUST:
Graffiti was our 6th man and he shared with us. I now know why a restaurant manager is called Graffiti. Keep him in your prayers for a new Manager role. Love working out with you, Graffiti.
