INTRO:

Being my V Q I was nervous and woke up almost every hour worried that I would oversleep. I arrived at the AO to put out the cones and thought to myself…self…. you really underestimated the size of the parking lot and should have put two or three more stations on each side of the loop. I began to worry if the workout was going to be tough enough or long enough to make it worth everyone getting out of bed at zero dark thirty.

WARM-O-RAMA:

Standard addition Side straddle hops, Windmills, Hillbillies and Michael Phelps along with plenty of mumble chatter and a missed step or two by YHC.

THE THANG:

I figured since everyone was taking a gamble on giving me the opportunity to Q we might as well get out the dice.

12 stations with an exercise and a multiplier at each.

Merkins, 1/4 Lap, American Hammers, Mountain Climbers, Flutter Kicks, Burpees, Lunges to the previous station and back, Squats, Peter Parker Merkins, Dips, Big Boy Sit-ups, Sprint to the previous station and back. By the time we got through one lap of lunges I realized we did not need more stations and I may have made the lunge distance an inch or 30 yards too far. There was plenty of mumble chatter at the lunge station and I think I heard a death threat or two at the lunge station. (Disclaimer I may have threatened myself once or twice)

Bataan death march back to the flag for a couple minutes of marys before wrapping it up.

 

CIRCLE OF TRUST:

Prayers for Hasbro, Prayers for Cricket and his Mother and Prayers Banjos Uncle upcoming surgery.

We have plenty of opportunities to serve through the holidays. Holiday hopes of light, Veterans Park Holiday lights just to name a few.

Preacher invited everyone out to the St. Aidan’s Episcopal Church low country broil on Oct. 20th.

A few other upcoming events are the Creekland MS Color Run on the 27th. (Registration price goes up on the 13th)

Bloodhound (Looked like a FNG all clean shaven today)  mentioned a painful sounding ruck coming up and I must have been so terrified that I stopped the recording on my phone. I am a terrible person!

Since FIA sponsored Riverfest the Service league ladies are EH’ing me to get a group of PAX from F3 to sponsor their run for the children in December. Anyone that would like to pitch in with me the total is only $150.00 and gets the F3 name out there on their site, social media and the race shirts. It also allows us a 10 x 10 area for a table / canopy for F3 literature and EH’ing.
