YHC was excited to be back home at The Kodiak for this holiday week beatdown. 12 PAX showed up in the gloom with cars still arriving 2 minutes before the mosey. 0530 sharp we were off…

WARM-O-RAMA:

Short mosey to the small square parking lot at the back of the school. The PAX circled up for the warm-up:

Nice quick warm-up to give us time to tackle the events for today.

THE THANG:

The Board of Jericho

Some of my fondest memories at The Kodiak are the Board of Pain (thanks Babyface) and the Walls of Jericho (thanks Cricket). So, I thought, why not combine these two hellish beatdowns and see how it goes? The goal was simple, work your way through the Board of Pain and after completing 2 exercises the PAX would take a lap around the school. The complete board is as follows:

Run a lap
50 Carolina Dry Docks
50 American Hammers
Run a lap

The most high-speed PAX finished the whole board just in time to catch their breath. Once the 6 came YHC called it and we moseyed back to the flag to wrap things up with some Mary. 0615 on the dot, that’s a wrap!

CIRCLE OF TRUST:

Name-o-rama, 6th Man (Fault Line), prayers, and praises. Prayers for Alcoa’s cousin who is battling Ataxia and he put out some information on C4NN regarding the fundraising. Prayers also go out for Fault Line who is selling his house and building a new one.

Naked-Man Moleskin:

Really appreciate the opportunity to come home and lead a beatdown. Expansion has been awesome and YHC was finally able to put some faces to the new names that have been posted on the coolers. Look forward to our continued growth and seeing each of you in the gloom!
