INTRO:

Big numbers to get the week started off right. Shout out to The Mole for making the trip to the Southside for the first time! With no time to waste we started off with a Mosey to the front of the school at exactly 0530.

WARM-O-RAMA:

Circled up at the front of the school for the warm-up. Brain was foggy so I forgot the first exercise! Oh well, adapt and overcome:

5x Rear Lunge
10x Squats
10x Windmills
5x Forward Lunges

Done with that. Now on to the main event….

THE THANG:

The exercise was simple. We have done this several times before at The Kodiak and The Paragon. Time to introduce it in the South. The APFT or the Army Physical Fitness Test consists of 3 separate events that measure the overall strength and endurance. They consist of 2 minutes of Merkins, 2 Minutes of Big Boy Situps, and then a timed 2-mile run (12 minutes). With the instructions put out it was time to begin. We partnered up to begin the event. There was a short break between each event and the PAX took turns doing the event or grading their partner.

Tiny Tat took Gold as he lapped nearly all the PAX twice! Drumstick was hot on his heels as well. The Mole still showed out even though he was on the DL for nearly 2 months. After 12-minutes the end-ex was called and then we moseyed back to the flag. We were really pressed for time on this one.

I didn’t have any time leftover to try out something new. No worries, there is always next time. Great job today!

CIRCLE OF TRUST:

Name-o-rama, 6th man (Pulte), and then we named our Arkansas native (Yahzoo). Welcome! He got the name because his M is from Yahzoo city in Mississippi.

Naked-Man Moleskin:

Really appreciate the accountability today men! I had less than zero motivation this morning before I saw all the cars rolling in. There is no way that I would have fought the fartsack on my own. Keep showing up and keeping each other accountable. 11 men got stronger today!
