QIC: Spaceballs-

INTRO:

The Paragon has been going strong for over 6 months now.  Quick look back at attendance numbers shows an average of 20ish PAX at this AO.  The way we build and grow is by each man stepping up to lead.  The best way to start this is to jump in and Q a workout.  Before you know it, you’ll be the Q for 4 of the 5 workouts you attend in 10 days.  (True story. Wasn’t planning on it, just kinda happened.)   As Homeboy suggested, it was time to start encouraging some new Q’s.

WARM-O-RAMA:
5:30 sharp and the PAX moseyed around Dean Rusk to the loading dock.    No FNGs today so we fast tracked the disclaimer and got right into it.  Circle up and start with 13 SSH.  Followed by Weed Pickers and Sun Gods.  Then we lined up for an Indian Run to the upper parking lot.

THE THANG:

The PAX circled up around a cone and a bag of wooden blocks and a speaker.  Each block had an exercise on it and the speaker had a selection of my favorite workout songs.  A second cone acted as 12:00.  QIC started it out by pulling dieing cockroach (? i don’t remember.  All these Q’s are blending together).  After the exercise. PAX backpedaled to the nearest curb for 5 merkins and return to the circle.  Then we move clockwise and the next PAX, at the cone, pulled an exercise and we repeat.  The number was perfect as we headed to the flag once the Fridge, final PAX of the day, lead us in his exercise.

Highlights of this painful clock experience include: Yogi adding squats to Air chairs.  Ricky Bobby had us bear crawl about a mile.  Or at least it felt like that.  Partner carry all the way around the parking lot courtesy of Babyface.  Wiggum and Fleetwood proved they are both ready to Q with strong performances at the cone.  Overall a little base of the Q for all PAX involved.

CIRCLE OF TRUST:

Smurfette’s wife had the baby! Prayers for him and his family.  Fleetwood shared that a coworker reached out for support.  The Fridge is headed overseas for work for 3 months and hoping his family can join.  Garfield led us in a prayer.

Naked-Man Moleskin:

What is this category?  Did i miss something on the cooler?  Do I add a picture here?  Is there a new element of the workout that I don’t know about?   And what does it sound vaguely X-rated?  Should I address the fact that Spaceballs in the QIC field is an error when I submit a BB but Spaceballs- is considered a correction?
