WARM-O-RAMA:

Big Mosey circle, back to the Reindeer boom box, aka Swisher’s Leaf. Power provided by lithium pollution. We were getting a little echo off the school while Garfield was coming in hot on two wheels. Mosey with light up foam sticks (renamed Unicorn Dicks by Garfield and Swisher). Saved the SSH for later. 12X for 12 Days of Christmas.

THE THANG:

Partnered up, even 14 PAX (thanks FNG). Started at the Reindeer Boom Box, partner ran a large lap around the parking lot while the rest St. Nick’d it until they returned.

S – SSH

T. – T-Merkins (basically hand-release but reaching your arms out wide to make a T)

N – Nolan Ryans (in honor of all parents out there who forgot to move Buddy)

I – Imperial Walkers

C – Copperhead Lunges (4 count, up on 4, switch legs)

K – Kracken Burpees (3 hand-release merkins, jump and release the Kracken!)

The boys moved pretty fast. It probably had less to do with their hangovers of Christmas cheer and more to do with our awesome playlist and quality bitrate’d songs. I mean, how can you not run faster to 320 kbit/s of the Beibs & Busta (again, see playlist shared earlier) with a hard hitting 12″ sub.

Our Unicorn Dicks may have malfunctioned or faded (comes with age) but our holiday spirit did not. Once St. Nicks was in the history books. We did crowd-sourced Marys (on a serious note, I highly encourage more Qs to do this, gives new PAX a chance to lead, which is what our mission is all about, plus it makes it super easy and quick to fill time)

Whenever your expectation for your M (2.0s, co-workers, friends, family) doesn’t line up with her behavior it creates a gap. A gap between our expectation and their behavior. In the gap, our tendency is often to assume the worst, instead of believing the best, which gets us in trouble, plus it speaks/believes death instead of life (see Proverbs 18:21). So I encouraged our HIMs this mornings to alway try and believe the best in that gap instead of assuming the worst. Speak life and chose to believe the best. Try it out, I think you’ll be happy you did.
