INTRO:
New Day, New Month, New Health Challenge and an FNG waiting for his new love affair to begin…F3. After falling asleep on the couch and then waking up at 10:30 only to pound a snickers, kit kat and peanut butter cup, YHC was ready for a fresh start. The gloom is the best way to get your mind right for the day and all challenges it brings. If we can accomplish the beatdown we can accomplish any challenges that come our way throughout the day.
Harp loves to complain about the lack of music I bring to my Q’s. So, in honor of the fresh start to end the year I created a playlist, consisting of 1 song, 25 times.
Song: I’m Gonna Be (500 Miles) by the Proclaimers.
WARM-O-RAMA:
Started with a short mosey to the end of the parking lot and back right as Ma Bell was pulling up. He completed the run and we circled up.
Michael Phelps OYO
Merkins – Kodiak IC
Weed Pickers – 10 IC

THE THANG:
It’s been a few weeks since I’ve used the CINDERellas and most of the Stoneclad PAX hasn’t had the joy of them so today seemed fitting for a Circuit Beatdown.

2. Rows
3. Reverse Lunge with Twist
4. Makhtar N’Diayes with Drag Through (about this time in round 1 the song restarted and Harp looked up realizing what I had done and the mental challenge he was facing. Nothing brought me more joy this morning than that.

RECOVER
CIRCLE OF TRUST:
Prayers for Harp’s niece and the surgery ahead.
Prayers for Dory’s wife.
Prayers for the people and workers still being impacted by the results of the Hurricane.
Naked-Man Moleskin:
Welcome FNG Red Hat. Works for IBM. Eh’d by Cousteau and Good Hands (who was MIA today because of an “Alarm Issue”. Some of us were clueless on the name but the computers nerds understand. They keep us up and running at F3 so we are good with the name.
Proclaimers played 13 and a half times during the beatdown. The worst part was every time it started over.
Great day to kick off the Good Eats Challenge and get just a little bit healthier on our journey. Hit it hard men!
