INTRO:

The year is coming to as close. So is the Burpee Challenge. It’s been a great year for F3 and today was no exception! It’s time to finish strong! 

WARM-O-RAMA:

Good Hands said it best: “Your Mosey is like my sprint.” We did a fast Mosey around this beautiful AO. I like to get in the Pax’s heads during the mosey to throw off their expectations. We did a couple laps around the bus lane rotunda, back to the parking lot, a couple laps between two light posts. Circled Up.

THE THANG:

Each pax stood on a number in the big parking lot. 

Here’s the routine: 10 burpees, Merkins for your first number, LBCs for your second number, and Rosalitas for your third number. So, if you were standing on parking spot 253 you would do 10 Burpees, 2 Merkins, 5 LBCs, and 3 Rosalitas. 0 = Players choice of any number. 

We alternated between high knees, lunges, with some leap frogs in there too as we progressed from number to number. Pax would air chair while waiting on the six, so as to progress across the parking lot together. 

In total we finished 111 Burpees and all variety of Merkins, LBCs, and Rosalitas. 

Long mosey over to the gigantic hill (called Grapes of Wrath?). We took this opportunity to look back on all we had accomplished that morning and throughout the year by running up the hill backwards 3 times. The first time we reflected on the Beatdown. Second, we reflected on the growth of F3, and third we remembered all the challenges we finished! 

CIRCLE OF TRUST:

Jungle Love was the 6th man. Good to get to know him a little bit.

Praises and Prayers. YHC could tell that the Pax was reflective and hopeful for what the next year had to bring. We shared some of our hopes and some of our worries and some of our goals. We are here to support each other, hold each other accountable, and keep pushing each other to become better men. 

Naked-Man Moleskin:

Your days are numbered. Looking at those numbers beneath your feet can be intimidating. We aren’t guaranteed tomorrow. Those numbers could be how many seconds you have left. It could be how many weeks you have left. Be present and trust in the Lord. Remember that each day is a gift and 2018 was a gift indeed. Love you guys.
