INTRO:

Inspired by Cuban and his series on the Advent titles of Jesus and the meaning, I knew just what the beatdown needed to be.  Let’s Mosey!

WARM-O-RAMA:

Hitting our normal spot in front of the flag pole, “let’s circle up”.

THE THANG:

Quickly mosey back to the flag so we can get this one in under the time limit.  Explained that the theme would be keeping CHRIST in Christmas

Compass Merkins – PAX lined up in plank with Q calling degrees (90, 180, 270, 360) and direction then do merkins IC.  After a few turns and sets of Merkins the shoulders where already feeling it.  I blame the Burpee Challenge.

Hallelujah Run – Around the school with Hands in the air to praise the new born King.  After Compass Merkins  this was a lot harder than it should be.

Reverse Crunches – 50 OYO.. allowed us to catch our breath but still make it hurt more than I thought.

Indian Run – Around the school at a quick clip and back to the small island on the side of the school.

Santa’s Ladder – Run around island at opposite side of the parking lot,  stopping to do 10 Burpees, and back.  Then another with 9 Burpees, then 8, 7, 6.  Merkins at 5, 4, 3, 2, 1.  Wait on 6.  We were quickly running out of time so we shortened the distance and started again this time with 10 Merkins down to 6 and Burpees from 5 to 1, stopping every half lap.

T Bombs – with just over a minute enough time to circle-up and get 15 in.

CIRCLE OF TRUST:

The real point of the beatdown was a reminder to take the time to do something special with your family that was just about Christ and his birth.  No gifts, no red suit… just Jesus focused.

Prayers for the many PAX with relationships and marriages under attack.

Praises for the relationships of the PAX that are getting healed.

Special prayers for our Cheetah brother, Thrasher.  Keeping him lifted up.

God’s anointing on the men of F3 and our interactions with each other, our families and the community.  Let us be the light.

Naked-Man Moleskin:

Today’s beatdown was a lot harder than I thought would be.  I had more planned but time and endurance where not there.  The distance on Santa’s ladder was pretty aggressive.  We ended up with just under 3 miles in total.

Highlights where :

1) Westside refusing to be lapped and fought through the mental part to keep going hard.

2) Papa John saying that was his closest encounter with a potential Merlot since starting F3.

3) Having RB back with us.

4) Watching Cuban continue to kill it each and every beatdown.

5) Aquaman becoming a full member of the Cheetah coalition.

6) Lively, Harding and Wiggum working hard and not slowing down.

7) Always love running with my brother AC.
