INTRO:
With the upcoming birthday of YHC’s M it seemed fitting to theme a beatdown in her honor.  Since she will be 30 years old (with 10 years experience), the number of the day is 40.  

WARM-O-RAMA:

Due to the COLD temperatures it was a long mosey around the whole track before circling up for some:

SSH IC (x20)
Windmill IC (x10)
Weed Picker IC (x10)
Copperhead Squat IC (x15)

THE THANG:

As YHC explained the theme of the beatdown, YHC mentioned the new decade his M is about to embark upon.  After several of the PAX chided YHC for mentioning her age, it occurred to me that they were just upset that an older FIA can outrun them in races.  (true story)

40’s with hip thrusters & monkey humpers
Starting on the goal line perform 5 hip thrusters – bear crawl 40 feet – perform 35 monkey humpers – bear crawl back
Increase 1st exercise by 5 and decrease 2nd exercise by 5 throughout routine so reps always add to 40
(second set = 10 + 30; third set = 15 + 25; and so on…)

40’s with merkins & squats
Starting on visitor sideline perform 5 squats – run across field and up metal mountain (home bleachers) – perform 35 merkins – run back down to visitor sideline
Repeat increasing 1st exercise by 5 and decreasing 2nd exercise by 5 same as before

Run back to the flag the long way around the track

Back at the flag QIC clock says 6:14…. just enough time to squeeze in 40 American Hammers IC

CIRCLE OF TRUST:

Prayers for Creekview HS students and community.  The tragic car accident the day before caused three to be injured and one fatality.  Prayers for healing and for God to somehow help those young hearts to make sense of things amidst the storm.  (News vans were already on the scene when we pulled in for the 0530 beatdown.)

Floppy asked for prayers for F3 brother “Mama” for job interview.  Needs the opportunity as things are getting tight with 9 kids in the family.  

Lawdog shared about the 3rd F opportunities with Holiday Lights of Hope.  Both setup help and tear down help needed.  

YHC has been planning a surprise birthday party for my M that is to take place this Saturday.  Prayers the surprise and the party go well.  And that she feel loved and appreciated by the party and the effort.  

Someone else shared and YHC is struggling to remember what was shared.  My bad.
