INTRO:

Today was a great day. 12 Pax showed up to get stronger for a Chatterbox on Tour at Hobgood Park. 10 of the Pax showed up ready for some foreplay deciding to mosey for a short lap around the field. At 5:30 sharp YHC, QIC, yelled lets mosey and joined the rest of the Pax. Garfield took a little long getting out of the truck, but was there for the warm up.

WARM-O-RAMA:

Started with Imperial walkers and moseyed through the park performing weed pickers, Michael Phelps, dips, and step ups every so often when the mood felt right. 

   

THE THANG:

On Google Maps, two things stood out about this park 1) the Turf Field, 2) the amphitheater. So we moseyed to the turf field for some four corner escalators with 10 merkins at corner 1, 10 merkins, 20 squats at corner 2, 10 merkins, 20 squats and 30 lbcs at corner 3, and 10 merkins, 20 squats, 30 lbcs, and 40 monkey humpers at corner 4. Run between the corners always facing east/northeast.  Rinse and repeat.

Next up, partner up for Imperial Squawkers and bear craws around some part of the turf field that looked like lacrosse stuff. One partner Squawked while the other crawled a lap. 2 times through.

Mosey to the amphitheater for Dora 1, 2, 3 with merkins, gas pumpers on the tier, and squats with the run being up the several tiers of the amphitheater.

Finished off with walk like an Egyptian and a pullup squat pageant, then back to the flag stopping on the way for dips and derkins.

Naked-Man Moleskin:

Hobgood Park is an awesome AO. We need to keep growing so we can reach the men of Town Lake. There is a lot of space to roam at this park with several areas of good terrain changes.  

Lots of mumble chatter about YHC being late, however, the Q’s watch is the one that matters and that watch said I started on time and ended on time.  That’s my story and I am sticking too it. 

Lots of guys assumed that Garf hit the bathroom before hand due to the foul nature of the fumes assaulting the pax as we moseyed that way, but twas not he. He was too busy gassing the fartsack and trying to pick up men at redlights on the way to the beatdown.

Now for the real reason we were here today. The Holiday Lights of Hope starts in a few weeks. It is a fund raiser for the Anna Crawford Center here in Cherokee County and provides a great service to children in the community. The Pax believe in all three Fs and we were here to give back to our community. 8 men from the beatdown were joined by 4 to volunteer our time giving back to the community we care about. We moved a lot of heavy objects with lots o Christmas lights. With our help, we were able to cut down 1 to 2 days of work to 4.5 hours.  If you were not able to help out today, there is still a lot of work to do over the next month and many more opportunities to help. I will post details to slack as I get them. 

I am very proud to be apart of this group of men who strive to get right, live right, lead right, and leave right.
