INTRO:

YHC wanted to end the year with a workout that would be easy for the PAX who showed up to remember how they finished their F3 Year.  The best way I have found to pull that little trick off is to keep it simple.

WARM-O-RAMA:

We started our mosey as Scully popped out to the car (he must have heard that was one of the Rougie categories and is making his 2019 push early) and headed down toward teh football field.  Circle up for a 10 IC SSH, Windmills, & Imperial Walkers then finish the mosey to the goal line.    

THE THANG:

As I said before, the plan was to keep it simple & memorable so what better way to end 2018 than with 2018 reps.  We did 100 reps of each exercise followed by a 100-yard sprint

Round 1:

Merkins, Squats, LBC, SSH, 100-yard Sprint, Hold for the 6

Round 2: 

Air Press, Monkey Humpers, Big Boy Sits-ups, Plank Jacks, 100-yard Sprint, Hold for the 6

Round 3:

Carolina Dry Docks, Lunges (Rubicon), American Hammer (Rubicon), Calf Raises, 100-yard Sprint, Hold for the 6

Round 4:

Air Press, Side Lunges (Rubicon), Flutter Kicks (Rubicon), SSH, 100-yard Sprint, 18 Burpees

All PAX were able to complete the 18 burpees before we headed back to teh flag where the 6 crossed the line at 0615 on the dot.  I love it when a plan comes together (even if it has a few audibles thrown in)

In reflexion of how far we have come and how much we have grown in the past 365 days, I am still in awe of what has been accomplished by the men of F3 Cherokee.  Thank you all for all the hard work that has gone into this past year.

I asked the men today to set a goal (not a resolution) for the new year.  We all do it, but typically we internalize that goal.  My follow up was for the men to share that goal with someone so that they can be held accountable.  That is one of the best attributes of F3, accountability.  So I charge the rest of you to do the same.  Find a goal, share it with someone (or better yet invite them to take part in it as well), and continue to improve as men.  For me my health/good eats goal is no deep fried food for 2019, if you see me and I am about to take a bite, you have permission to slap me, no questions asked.
