INTRO:
As YHC arrived, sweat was already dripping down by forehead from a good solid coffee chug. The gloom looked gloomy, with fog setting in. I looked at the temperature in my rig, and it was a balmy 72 degrees and humid. Clearly, this was going to be another sweat session. I’m glad I remembered to pack the Rock Sacks for today’s pain devices. Let’s hold off on the Rock Sacks for at least another few minutes, while we warm ourselves up a little more…
WARM-O-RAMA:
Short mosey around the parking lot to a lonely patch of grass. Scooped up Mickey and Quagmire on the way. Quick disclaimer, then:
SSH x 15
Sun Gods in cadence – 10 count each direction
Merkins in cadence – 10 reps
Windmills – slow in cadence
Jog back to my rig, partner up, grab one Rock Sack per 2 Pax group
THE THANG:
Slow Mosey over to the benches. One partner keeps Rock Sack on his back and performs:
Partner 1: Squat on the ground, step up one leg at a time onto the bench, squat at the top of the bench, then back down to the ground one leg at a time. Partner 2 with no sack 🙂 is running large circle, completes the circle to relieve Partner 1 and straps the sack on. Partner 1 then runs circle, while Partner 2 holds his sack and completes squats/step ups. Rinse and repeat.
Mosey in the direction of the lower parking lot. Stop in the bus lanes on the way for:
Partner 1- bear crawl with sack across parking lot, jog back at completion while Partner 2 is doing merkins while waiting on relief from Partner 1 . Partner 1 gives Partner 2 the sack and they switch. Rinse and repeat.
Slow mosey, 10 random squats on the way, slow mosey to bottom of the stairs in lower parking lot.
Partner 1 – carries his sack up the stairs, then back down while Partner 2 is running gassers across with parking lot with no sack. When Partner 1 finishes stairs, partner 1 gives Partner 2 their sack and they switch. Rinse and repeat until each Pax completes 5 stairs climbs with their sack.
Mosey back to the flag, while hitting random Mary’s on the way back:
Legionnaire led a 30 count in cadence of Flutter Kicks.
Garf led a 10 count LBC
Once back to the flag, Nomad led a crunchy frog set to completion.
CIRCLE OF TRUST:
Prayers go out to Dosido for healing and comfort and for a positive doctor visit today/this week. Prayers for Homeboy and family on their Lighthouse trip, supporting the families that are in the fight of their lives. It was my hope and prayer that Christ show Himself during this trip, whether it be to believers or non-believers. We all can use it! Praise to God for allowing us to have this F3 community and for each of the Pax her created. He allows each and every one of us to be healthy enough to do what we do. Tclaps and Praise to Him and all of you as well, for being a part of this community.
Naked-Man Moleskin:
During the duration of this beatdown, there was much chatter about handling each other’s sacks. I, for one, would trust each and every one of the Pax today with my sack.
P.S. Fleetwood made me take a good, hard gander at his sack. It was bigger and darker than I imagined.
