INTRO:

If you build it he will come? With FIA having a convergence to officially become FIA Cherokee, YHC needed a place to have a beat down and still keep the 2.0’s out of the way.  Fast forward to Saturday, it was time to Q a temporary AO at Midway Park. With the help of Google Earth, YHC planned on a field of dreams Beat Down. In the spirit of Field of Dreams, YHC thought to himself if you build it he will come. The only problem, was ‘HE’ was Matchstick and only Matchstick. Time to bring the pain to my brother-in-law…

WARM-O-RAMA:

Being that Midway Park had many baseball fields, we took a quick mosey to one of the larger fields and started our warm-o-rama:

THE THANG:

FIELD of DREAMS

Name of the game is Field of Dreams but because we only have 2 PAX, we need to modify the rules.

Home Plate complete 20 Burpees,

Run to Right Field Fence, complete 50 BBS

Run the Center Field Fence, complete 50 Merkins

Run to Left Field Fence, complete 50 Squats (Rinse and Repeat)

On the 3rd round,  we modified

Home: 20 Burpess

Right: 50 LBS

Center: 50 Plank Jacks

Left: 50 Squats

NEXT ROUND

Next we found a random trail and took a long mosey around the park. Eventually we made it back to the flag for 6 minutes of MARY

YHC was coughing up a lung again so Match Stick lead with some LBS and Flutter Kicks

 

CIRCLE OF TRUST:

Posting with only your family aloud for an extended COT around a close family member who has hit rock bottom. He is taking the right steps to finally get his life back in order and we are going to step up and help him were we can.

I enjoyed hitting this gloom with my family and also enjoyed spending the day with Matchstick at the Lake. Got to love a strong family built on Christ Love.
