WHERE: The Hurt Locker

INTRO:

YHC arrived early this AM to the Hurt Locker for a little extra curricular run hoping for some inspiration.  As I ran around placed where I could find light, I saw a glowing beacon on top of the hill near the skate park.  Since it was a place we have not ventured to on a Monday, YHC felt that it was a good day to take a trip up there.

WARM-O-RAMA:

 

After a looooong mosey to the tennis court parking lots we circled up and did some IC SSH, Windmills, & Weed Pickers.  Then finished our mosey to the sidewalk entering the skate park.

THE THANG:

We did a Cooper.  If you couldn’t tell by the name of the Back Blast, we did a cooper.  The lap around the parking lot was not a true 400 meters, but trust me it felt long enough and no one felt cheated when we were all done.  If you don’t know what a Cooper is, preform 10 Burpees, Squats, and Merkins, then run a lap. When you get back do 9 of each and run a lap.  This continues until you get through 1 of each and finish with a lap.

 

We finished with enough time to visit some benches with some decreasing dips and leg raises. We started at 10 (IC) Dips and 20 (OYO) Leg Raises and decreased by 2 on the dips & 5 on the leg raises until we hit 0 and ran back to the flag, making it with just enough time for a little bit of Mary and then calling it.

• FNG did great today!  Nice having X-Files out

• If you are at Veterans anytime this week, check up by the tennis courts, you might find Alcoas lung laying around.  It takes a tough dude to continuously show up and crush workouts while not being able to breathe, good work man.

• Nice to have Tebow & Molson venture over to the Hurt Locker.
