INTRO:
Being the first beatdown after a week of vacation, YHC pulled together a plan late Sunday night. The initial plan was to read through all of the August backblasts and cherry pick some good lookin routines but then realized that is not possible on F3Cherokee.com compared to F3Alpha.com (hint, hint…search feature would be a nice add in my opinion). So…off the exicon I went where I was easily inspired!
WARM-O-RAMA:
Nuthin fancy…
– SSH
– Week Pickers
– Imperial Walkers
– Sun Gods
THE THANG:
Route 66
Again, nuthin fancy but always a trusted routine to get the blood flowin real nice.
– Perform a merkin at the 1st light pole
– Run to next light pole and perform 2 merkins
– Keep this up until the 11th light pole
Partner Tire Flips (Dora Style)
– Partner 1 starts a continuous tire flip back and forth across the wrestling parking lot
– Partner 2 runs to the bus loop and back
– Upon return, switch places
– Continue routine until both partners ran 3 times
While we still had the tires out, we perform 3 rounds of the following:
– Derkins (partners using opposite sides of the tire) x15 IC
– Toe Touches (4 Count) x 15 OYO
– Dips x 15 IC
3rd round was decreased to 10 reps as the Q was getting a little smoked!
We put the tires away and moseyed over to a grassy area.
Bear Crawl Ring of Fire (Mucho Chesto)
We split up into two rings to make the suck factor reasonable (but still sucked pretty good). Cricket volunteered to lead the 2nd ring (thanks!) and both rings made it through 2 rounds (regular merkins and diamond merkins) before we had to call it due to time.
6MOM
We had just under 2 minutes so YHC called ABCs where all PAX were on their six and drew large capital alphabet letters with both legs outstretched as called out by YHC. We made it from A to Z finishing slightly over the mark at 6:16 (no charge for the extra minute).
CIRCLE OF TRUST:
Prayers for a family at Crickets church who was going to the doctors today to get the results / treatment plan for tumor on their 3 year old’s optic nerve. Prayers for Brady’s interview today as he is applying for the ARMY ROTC program. Prayers for our F3 brother Nomad during this hectic time as he works on some major decisions while also trying to sell his house.
Naked-Man Moleskin:
Ole’ Blue was our 6th man today which is always good to hear a back story for a PAX you dont know very well. Good Job! Great having 2 FNGs post today after Hombre EHd them in FL last week. These boys have their head screwed on straight (or maybe not) to come hang out with us in the gloom. Good work Hombre!
